Lovers of the screen will have an opportunity to watch Jackie Chan’s; latest movie, Dragon Blade, as FilmOne says it has obtained the right to show it in Nigeria.

Dragon Blade was said to be a big hit in China and FilmOne management believes it will do well in Nigeria too.

According to the distribution company, the cinematographic splendour, sprawling battle scenes, memorable thrilling scenes, mind-blowing stunts with pints of comic relief synonymous with the legend make Dragon Blade a movie worth seeing at the cinemas.

Chief Operating Officer of FilmOne, Mr. Moses Babatope says, “We are pleased to be the distributor of this thrilling movie from the veteran, Jackie Chan.

“Certainly, he is a household name in Nigeria and indeed Africa, having achieved great things in his career. Now at 60, when people think he should be slowing down, the reverse is the case, as he has proved once more that age has nothing to do with reaching your set goals. We are proud to be associated with this film and the Jackie Chan brand and we’re confident that it will do well at the box office.”

The movie takes the viewer to 48 BC and HuoAn (Jackie Chan), a Hun, serves as the captain of the Protection Squad Silk Road.

A Roman General named Lucius (John Cusack) flees to the East with his legion and Publius (Jozef Waite), heir of the ruling Roman Consul, to escape from the corrupt Emperor Tiberius (Adrien Brody), who plans to kill Publius and usurp the throne.
